Art inspiring programming

art vs programming

Here is one of the original artworks from the Electronic Superhighway exhibition at Whitechapel Gallery alongside an artwork from a pupil from St Paul’s Primary School.

In the Machido and Whitechapel Gallery collaborative gallery visit and workshop, the pupils took inspiration from the exhibition and then learnt to program their own spinning, flashing electronic artwork with Machido in response.

We were delighted with the great ideas that everyone had and how quick it is for a group completely new to programming to be able to control LED lights, motors and delays in just over an hour!
